February 5, 2022 it has been 104 years since the birth of an outstanding Azerbaijani composer, teacher, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, people's artist of the USSR, winner of state awards, hero of socialist labor KARA ABULFAZ OGLU KARAYEV (05.02.1918 - 13.05.1982).
On this occasion, the director of the State Museum of Music Culture Azerbaijan Alla Bayramova, head of the museum branch, the House Museum of Kara Karayev Zuleikha Bagirova-Karayeva and the museum's staff visited the grave of the composer on the Alley of the honorary funeral nia.
During the day, there were many guests at the Kara Karayev House Museum. The museum was visited by teachers and students of the 11-year-old music school No.15 named after Rauf Gadzhiev and the 11-year music school No.20 named after Shovket Alekperova. The guests were given detailed information about the life and creativity of the outstanding composer Kara Karayev. Then with the concert program consisting of works of Kara Karayev, performed Aisha Nazurmatova (violin), Hazar Safarli (f-no), Aitaj Gasanzade (flute), Sevinj Ismail (f-no) students of the 11-year-old music school No. 20 named after Shovket Alekperova.
