Ashug Alesker-200
On October 29, 2021, an event dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding representative of Azerbaijan Ashuga art, famous master of the word Ashug Alesker, was held at the State Museum of Music of Azerbaijan.
February 18, 2021 President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev signed a decree "On the 200th anniversary of Ashug Alesker".
Ashug Alesker gave a new filling to the centuries-old traditions of Ashuga art with the highest artistic and aesthetic criteria, and made an unprecedented contribution to the treasure of Azerbaijan's cultural wealth with his works that harmonize the spirit of the people. His rich work that instills a sense of love and patriotism for his native nature.
The opening speech was delivered by the Director of the State Museum of Musical Culture of Azerbaijan, a candidate of art, a well-deserved worker of culture Alla Bayramova. Then Deputy Director Taran Zeynalov told guests about the exhibition prepared for the 200th anniversary of Ashug Alesker based on a rich collection of the museum. Musa Nabioglu, Chairman of "Dede Alesker Ojaga" spoke at the event, great-grandson of Ashug Alesker Khatai Aleskerli, doctor of art, professor Abbasgulu Najafzadeh, associate professor of Azerbaijan National Conservatory, candidate of art Mubariz Aliyev, head of the Department of Ashuga State University of Culture and Arts, Honored Worker of Culture Akhliman Ragimov, member of Azerbaijan's Society of Writers and Journalists Tariel Abbasov.
In the art part of the event, Associate Professor of Ashuga Art Department of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Candidate of Arts, Honored Worker of Culture, Ashug Samira Aliyeva, Deputy Chairman of the Union of Ashugov of Azerbaijan, Senior Professor of Azerbaijan State University in Culture and Arts, PhD, Ashug Altai Mamedov, Associate Professor The Department of Ashuga Art of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Ashug Fazail Oruzhev (Miskinli), member of the Ashuga Society of Azerbaijan Afsana Kerimli, the Republican Art Gymnasium choir at the Azerbaijani National Conservatory: Elmir Tagiev, Ramal Abdullayev, Ravan Musali, Vyusalya Guliyeva gave a concert program.
