SEPTEMBER 27-MEMORY DAY IN THE AZERBAIJAN REPUBLIC

The 44-day war, which began in September under the leadership of Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, led to the liberation of our lands, Karabakh, which were under the Armenian occupation for almost 30 years.
If there is a war, there are shekhids, wounded, veterans and missing people... Unfortunately, this war did not go without victims. About three thousand heroes of Azerbaijan became shekhids, climbed to the top of martyrdom for the freedom of our lands, thousands of brave fighters were injured by veterans. The sons of the Fatherland, who died for liberating our lands from the enemy and restoring the territorial integrity of our country, are heroes of this holy war, who will live forever.
The land for which there are dead is homeland!
The event was dedicated to the heroism of our soldiers and officers who fought the Second Karabakh War, the Patriotic War, the Azerbaijani flag on our liberated lands and gave their lives for the territorial integrity of our country.
The opening speech was made by the Director of the State Museum of Musical Culture of Azerbaijan, a candidate of art, a well-deserved worker of culture Alla Bayramova.
A moment of silence was honored by the memory of the Shekhids of the Fatherland. Azerbaijani state brass orchestra performed the anthem of the Azerbaijan Republic.
Then a video was shown dedicated to the memory of the deceased musician Tamerlan Mahmudov. The Director of Baku Music School at Azerbaijan National Conservatory, Honored Art Worker, Professor Nazim Kyazimov, on behalf of his aunt Esmira Ismailova, a combat comrade, a former subhan Khankishiev museum employee, was shared with him.
