MEMORY DAY OF NIYAZI (20.08.1912-02.08.1984)
August 2, 2021 marks the 37th anniversary of the death of the famous Azerbaijani conductor and composer, the people's artist of the USSR, the winner of the State Awards of Azerbaijan and the USSR, and the winner of the J International Award. Nehru, Hero of Socialist Labor, brilliant representative of the Gajibekov family, Maestro Niyazi.
In this regard, in the morning, employees of the State Museum of Music of Azerbaijan and its branch, Niyazi Museum Apartments, famous musicians and public representatives visited the grave and monument of Niyazi in Baku at the Alley of honorary burial.
Documentaries about Niyazi, video concerts and films written by him in different years were shown at the Museum on Open House. Visitors of the museum were provided with detailed information about the life and work of Niyazi.
Also in 14:00 Golden Feather Award winner, G.B.Zardabi, Dan Ulduzu, Humai, Honored Cultural Artist, Famous Publicist Fazil Rahmanzadeh presented the book “Ən böyük Niyazi, ondan böyük yox!..” and shared memories of Niyazi.
