ASHIG ADALYAT NASIBOV

In connection with the decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev “On the 200th anniversary of Ashig Alesker” dated February 18, 2021 Azerbaijan State Museum of Music Culture continues the section “Azerbaijan's Ashig art in museum materials”.
Introducing Ashig Adalyat Nasibov, a prominent representative of Azerbaijani Ashiga art, which is stored in the museum.
Ashig Adalyat Nasibov is considered to be among the most famous masters of the Ashiga Gazakh environment. He was a well-deserved artist, presidential scholarship, outstanding solo performer and musician. Adalat Nasibov was interested in music from an early age and learned his art from his father. In the movie “I Want Seven Sons” Ashig Adalyat became known as the incomparable melody performer on the saga “Yanyg Keremi”, “Ruhani”, “Misiri”, “Jalili”, “Sarytel”. The numbers with his performance were repeatedly recorded on film in Paris, London, Moscow and Baku and were included in the gold fund. Ashig Adal tt participated in international folk festivals (1959, 1965, and 1974) and was awarded with high premiums. The UNESCO organization has released a golden record and a disk from a series of rare performers, and books and articles about its work were also written. Hundreds of poems are dedicated to Ashig Adalyat. He is also one of the masters who created a separate executive school. His repertoire has about a hundred tunes for saz, more than fifty dashans and about four thousand Ashig poems.
