Tofig Guliyev – 96
On November 7, 2013 at The State Museum of Azerbaijani Musical Culture held an event dedicated to the 96th anniversary of the outstanding Azerbaijan composer Tofig Guliyev.
The event was opened by chief of Museum’s department Hanim Abdinova. Then, the word was given to concertmaster of The Museum Ensemble of Old Musical Instruments, deputy director of The State Museum of Azerbaijani Musical Culture, Tarana Kurbanova.
Afterwards, the laureate of international awards, artistic director of musical groups of Azerbaijan Radio, Ramil Gasimov performed a colorful concert program and shared his memories about composer. All performances are accompanied by a slide show of museum materials reflecting the life and work of Tofig Guliyev.
To the event were invited members of the Classic Music Fans Club, students of musical college, staff of Baku museums, media representatives and others.
