Hasan Abasguliyev – 75
On September 4, 2013, the Classic Music Fans Club of State Museum of Azerbaijan Music Culture performed the night, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the composer, conductor, Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hasan Abasguliyev.
The event was opened by director of Museum, PhD in Arts, honored worker of culture Alla Bayramova. Then the word was given to Tarana Gurbanova. Her presentation was followed by a slide show and video-clips, reflecting the life and work of Hasan Abasguliyev. Also, Azad Guliyev, Sevinc Heydarova and Arif Aliyev brought their congratulations to composer. Hasan Abasguliyev presented to museum the portrait of Uzeyir Hajibeyli, the disks and pictures from his collection. The director of museum Alla Bayramova presented to jubiljar the book “Gara Garayev. Life and work in materials of State Museum of Azerbaijan Music Culture”.
Afterwards, the honored workers of culture, Rafik Seyidzade and Javan Zeynalli, the soloist of jazz-band “Arena” created by Hasan Abasguliyev in 2000, Teymur Abdullayev, musicians Fuad Jafar, Etibar Ardebili and grandson of composer Javid Velizade performed a colorful concert program.
On the event were invited members of composer’s family and his colleagues, members of the Classic Music Fans Club, staff of Baku museums, media representatives and others.
