From 1993, the Museum Director Alla Bayramova is a member of ICOM. The museum director and its staff regularly took part in events organized by ICOM, especially by the International Committee of Musical Instrument Museums and Collections (CIMCIM):

At the same time the Museum director takes an active part in the Azerbaijan Council of ICOM.
