Meeting with Zahra Guliyeva
On March 3, 2010, there was a meeting with the People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, professor of Baku Music Academy, violinist Zahra Guliyeva in the Classical Music Fans Club. The Event was opened by the director of the museum, the honored arts worker, the honored worker of culture, Alla Bayramova. The People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, professor of Baku Music Academy, composer Sevda Ibragimova told the guests about the creative activity of Zahra Guliyeva. Then Zahra Guliyeva answered many questions, told about her trips abroad and the warm reception of Azeri music abroad, about the specifics of work with the young musicians, and her plans for future. Her speech was accompanied by a slide-show. Zahra Guliyeva and her students performed the works by Brahms, Bach, Fore, G. Garayev, M. Mirzoyev. The participants included the Club members, composers, musicians, the museum personnel, the media.
