Dedicated to 20 January tragedy
The event for the 24th anniversary of 20 January tragedy took place by The State Museum of Musical Culture of Azerbaijan, "Icherisheher" History Museum of "Icherisheher" State Historical-Architectural Reserve together with music school named after Bulbul on 17 January 2014.
The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the director of The State Museum of Musical Culture of Azerbaijan, PhD on arts, honored cultural worker Alla Bayramova. Then the director of "Icherisheher" History Museum Ali Agakishibayli and the director of the music school, People's Artist Teymur Goychayev made speech.
The head of the department of the museum Hanim Abdinova and the head of the department of historical reserve "Icherisheher" Nahida Bakirova made speech on the theme of "20 January tragedy in the works of Azerbaijan composers". Afterall the pupils of music school presented the concert program.
The photo exhibition depicting on the events of January 20 has been performed in the lobby of the museum.
The guests of the event were museums' staff, students, music community, media representatives and others.
