Meeting with Fakhraddin Karimov
On January 15, 2014 at the Niyazi House Museum, the Classical Music Fans Club hold a meeting with conductor, honored worker of arts, associate professor of Baku Music Academy (BMA) Fahraddin Karimov. The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the director of museum, PhD on arts, honored worker of culture Alla Bayramova. Then the head of the department of the museum Hanim Abdinova spoke about life and work of Fahraddin Karimov. Her speech was accompanied by a slide show. After, the secretary of the Union of Composers, honored art worker Zemfira Gafarova, composer, honored art worker, professor Aydin Azimov, musician, journalist Raya Abbasova, Rauf Aliyev, chief of the Defense Ministry's orchestra, the People's Artist of Azerbaijan, professor of BMA Yusif Akhundzade, pianist, the teacher of BMA Yuliya Karimova and others made speech.
Then Fahraddin Karimov talked about his life and work before the participants of the event and answered questions. Then there were shown video fragments with some works of F.Karimov. At the lobby of the museum has been the photo exhibition which reflected the activities of Fahraddin Karimov.
The guests of the event were teachers and students ofBMA, members of the Union of Composers, music community, Baku museums’ staff, members of Classical Music Fans Club, media representatives and others.
