Fikret Amirov - 91
On November 22, 2013 at The State Museum of Azerbaijani Musical Culture held an event dedicated to the 91st anniversary of the outstanding composer, People's Artist of the USSR, laureate of State Prize Fikret Amirov.
The event was opened by director of The State Museum of Azerbaijani Musical Culture, PhD on art, honored worker of culture Alla Bayramova. Then, the chief of Museum’s department Hanim Abdinova made the presentation about life and work of Fikret Amirov.
Afterwards, the laureate of international awards, artistic director of musical groups of Azerbaijan Radio, Ramil Gasimov, Choir of Azerbaijan Radio and Television, Choir "Benovshe", Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Gulnaz Ismailov, soloists of Azerbaijan TV Kenul Nabiyeva, Sabina Arabova, Gunay Imamverdiyeva, Zabita Aliyeva performed a colorful concert program. All performances were accompanied by a slide show reflecting the life and work of Fikret Amirov.
To the event were invited members of the Classic Music Fans Club, students of musical colleges, staff of Baku museums, media representatives and others.
