Elmira Abasova - 90

An event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the prominent musician, teacher, honored artist, professor Elmira Abasova was held at the State Museum of Music Culture. The director of the museum, a doctor of art science, a well-deserved worker of culture Alla Bairamova, gave an opening word. At the event the director of the music college under the National Conservatory of Azerbaijan, a well-deserved artist, professor Nazim Kazimov, a professor, a well-deserved artist Zumrud Dadashzadeh, a professor of Baku Music Academy, a PhD in Philosophy in Arts, Khatira Gasanzade, a professor of Baku Music Academy, a well-deserved teacher, PhD in Philosophy in Arts Kenul Nasirova, head of the department of museum Khanum Abdinova made a speeches about the life and creative path of tireless researcher, teacher Elmira Abasova. Then word was given to the daughter of Elmira Abasova, Doctor of Philosophy in Art Science Kamina Mamedova. All performances were accompanied by a slideshow, prepared on the basis of rich museum collection. In the artistic part of the event, a concert program was presented, consisting of works of Azerbaijani, European and Russian composers performed by professor of the Baku Music Academy, people artist Ulviya Gadjibekova, a well-known artist Farid Aliyev, professor of the Baku Music Academy Nargiz Salmanli, Azerbaijan state piano trio - honored artist Tovha Babaeva, Elnara Kyabirlinskaya, Sabina Ibrahimova, students Natavan Salimova, Ophelia Dadasheva, and the winner of international competitions Sabina Kuliyeva.
