This year marks the anniversary of ballet that is at the peak of the creativity of the world-famous Azerbaijani composer Kara Karayev. Written by him, being inspired by the poem of the same name Nizami (1197), the ballet "Seven Beauties" will be 70, the ballet "The Path of Thunder", based on the novel by South African writer Peter Abraham, turns 65 years old.
In connection with this iconic event in our musical life January 25, 2022 In the branch of the State Museum of Music Culture of Azerbaijan, the Kara Karayev House Museum, the event "Kara Karayev's Ballet Jubilee: "Seven April - 70", "The Path of Thunder - 65".
The event was opened by the director of the museum, a doctor of art science, a well-deserved worker of culture Alla Bayramova. Musician and journalist Raya Abbasova talked about the stage achievements and the broad geography of Kara Karayev's ballet from the moment of creation and production until today. During her performances, photos of scenes from Kara Karayev's performances were demonstrated, colorful decorations of productions in Moscow, Sweden, Turkey and more. , as well as fragments of the documentary "Ballet, My Life", "Master Art" were also presented.
Then, the guests of the event were performed, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Union of Artists Firangiz Alizade, the host of the Azerbaijani State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, a well-deserved artist, a performer of the role of the Bizan Beauty in Ballet "Seven Beauties" by Jamil Kerimov. Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation, Art Director of the Theater "Russian Ballet" Vitaly Akhundov, well-known ballet critic, correspondent of the "Ballet" magazine, reviewer of the "Pro" magazine Dance" Alexander Maxov performed on direct contact and video call.
Chairman of the Union of Composers of Azerbaijan, People's Artist Firangiz Alizade, Vice-Chancellor of the Scientific Work of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, Professor Lala Guseinova, Musician Journalist Ray Abbasova, Director of the House of Museum Taira Salakhova Saadat Mirzoeva, gifted the museum books, posters and photos.
